Larry F. Witherow, Jr., 43, of Clearfield died on Sunday, May 16, 2010 at Mountain Laurel Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Clearfield. He was born on March 30, 1967 in Clearfield, a son of Larry F. Witherow Sr. and his wife Patricia of Grampian and Lynda (Hullihen) Darr and her husband Gary of Curwensville. Mr. Witherow was most recently employed with Rent-Way, DuBois as a sales representative. Prior to that, he worked for Waroquier Coal, Inc and as a sales representative with Cannon Pictures, Harrisburg; as an assembly worker with DuPont Electronics, Clearfield and a sales representative at K-Mart in Edgewater, MD. He also worked at Crown Theaters, Annapolis, MD as an usher. Mr. Witherow attended the Cherry Corner Bible Church and was a member of the Clearfield Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie No. 812. He served in the US Army National Guard during Desert Storm. He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Lynn (Place) Witherow of Moshannon, whom he wed on October 31, 1997. Also survived by his first wife, Penny L. Witherow of Hyde, four children, Tasha Witherow of Clearfield, David Witherow of Hyde, Dylan Witherow and fiancé Cassandra of Houtzdale, Cheyenne Witherow of DuBois, a grandson, Christopher Witherow, a step son, Seth Place of Moshannon. Also, two brothers and two sisters, Justin Witherow of Mesquite, TX, Byron 'Buddy' Witherow and wife Melissa of Luthersburg, Connie Laird and husband Mike of Curwensville, Mary Ann Alderton and husband Shawn of Springfield, VA, two step sisters, Pamela Carrick and husband Greg of Hughesville, MD and Karen Kvichak and husband Tommy of Crofton, MD. Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Curwensville on Tuesday at 1 PM with Pastor George W. Solley and Pastor Russ Raither officiating. Interment will be in the Watts Cemetery, Curwensville. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday from 9 AM until the hour of services.
