Larry L. Wright

Larry L. Wright, 80, of Madison passed away February 12, 2022, at his home after
suffering Parkinson's with Lewy Body Dementia for several years. Born in West Virginia on
September 17, 1941, his family moved to Ohio in the late '50s. His genealogy dates back to
before the American Revolution. Larry retired from Hubbell Industrial Controls and Perfection
Corporation, both in Madison. Larry loved his family, friends, hunting, fishing, car projects with
his son, and lawn maintenance. He was an overall outdoorsman. He LOVED to dance to a great
Slovenian polka band! Larry is survived by wife Jacqueline; daughters Tesa (Gene) Mackey of Perry and Vicki (Woody) Gurley of Mentor; son Tony of Birmingham AL; grandchildren Lidia and Chase Gurley, Haley Wright, and Morgan Mackey; and uncle / big brother Don Mah. He was preceded in death by parents George and Haley Wright and sister Dottie Reid. The family wants to thank Hospice of the Western Reserve. Visitation will be Saturday, February 19, 2022, from 11:00-1:00 at Potti & Marc F. Burr Funeral Home, 2726 Hubbard Rd. Madison. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 also at the funeral home with burial to follow at North Madison Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be held after the burial.
