It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Latiefe Mikell Elliott, who left us on Monday, March 16th, 2026, at the age of 54. Born on a crisp spring day, March 31st, 1971, in the vibrant heart of Harlem, New York, Latiefe was a shining light and a beacon of kindness to all who knew him.

A dedicated resident of Lithonia, GA, Latiefe will be fondly remembered by his community for his warmth, humor, and unwavering support for friends and family alike. He carried a unique zest for life that he generously shared, enriching the lives of those fortunate enough to have crossed his path.

In his professional life, Latiefe excelled as a Road Manager at Blacksmith Management. His hard work and passion were evident in every project he undertook, and he was cherished by colleagues and artists alike for his commitment and integrity.

Latiefe leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion. Though his departure has left an indelible void in our hearts, his memory will forever be celebrated and cherished by those he leaves behind.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the visitation at Gregory B Levett and Son Funeral Home - Flat Shoals Location in Decatur, Georgia, on Saturday, March 28th, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. A Celebration of Life will follow at the same location on Sunday, March 29th, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, where we will honor and remember the remarkable legacy Latiefe has left behind.

Following the celebration, Latiefe will be laid to rest at Melwood Cemetery, Stone Mountain, Georgia, on Sunday, March 29th, 2026, at 12:30 pm. It is there that we will say our final goodbyes and reflect on the beautiful journey of a life well-lived.
