Graveside service for Beverley Elliott at St. Vincent Catholic Cemetery
Send FlowersBeverley Sue Elliott, 93, of Shelbyville, passed away March 15, 2026 at her residence. Beverley was born March 11, 1933 in Shelbyville Indiana, the daughter of Wilbur and Katherine (Klose) Ray. In 1952 she married Robert Edward Elliott and he preceded her in death on October 4, 2025.
Beverley is survived by her 3 daughters, Pamela Tucker, husband Dan, of Shelbyville, Theresa Harlan, husband Joe, of Arizona, and Debra Elliott of Shelbyville. In addition, Beverley is survived by her grandchildren, Josh Tucker, Holly Harmon, and Mason Elliott along with 5 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, Robert Elliott Junior.
Beverley spent her entire life living in Shelbyville. She started working for the local phone company after high school and also worked at Major Hospital and at Marion school. She was an avid lover of animals, as she rescued many animals of all kinds over the years. She also loved watching the Indiana Hoosiers Basketball team and Chicago Cubs baseball. In her later years she was fond of puzzles, spending time with her kids, and continuing her focus on her love for animals.
Due to Beverley's wishes, no services are scheduled at this time. Burial will be Monday, March 23, 2026 at 1:00pm at St. Vincent Catholic Cemetery.
Arrangements have been made by Glenn E. George & Son Funeral Home. The family requests any memorial donations go to the Shelbyville/Shelby County Animal Shelter.
