Michael Wayne Tucker, 77, of Shelbyville, passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis.
He was born on January 27, 1949, in Shelbyville, the son of Donald and Marcella (Heppner) Tucker.
Mike is survived by his daughters, Chrissy Tucker of Shelbyville, Kelly Ellis of Greensburg, and Laura Mount of Shelbyville; sister, Sheryl Vise and husband, Robert, of Shelbyville; grandchildren, Krystal Lee, Zac McDonald, Katy McDonald, Jacob Mount and Peyton Mount; great-grandchildren, Zavier Lee, Emra Lee and Miles Mount.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and wife, Debbie (Carter) Tucker on December 31, 2012.
In 1967, he graduated from Shelbyville High School.
Mike retired in 2013, as a tool and dye maker, he had formerly worked for Mayflower, General Electric and Technocap.
Services have been entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.
