LaToya's heart was always open and welcoming; she found immense joy in working with children. Her nurturing spirit and unwavering support made her a cherished figure among coworkers, students, and families alike. LaToya's love extended beyond the classroom to her own family, where she devoted herself wholeheartedly as a mother to her children, Tiona, Teralyn, and Terrance Jr., and as a proud grandmother to her grandson, Talon.

She leaves behind her father, Robert Beasley and Renea, her brothers, Robert Beasley Jr. and wife Kristina, Eric Strickland Jr., and her sisters, Anita Beasley Franklin and Chante Strickland.
