Laura Ruth (Allred) Lendermon, 82 of Little Rock completed her earthly journey on Wednesday, September 24, 2025 and is now resting in the arms of Jesus.

Laura was born on February 12, 1943 to Tom and Hazel (Vandiver) Allred and grew up in and around Des Arc, Arkansas. She earned the academic title of Salutatorian of the 1960 graduating class of Des Arc High School. While attending school, she also enjoyed activities such as basketball, cheerleading, Beta Club and serving as the editor of the 1959-1960 DAHS yearbook.

On July 24, 1964, she and Robert “Bob” Lendermon, also of Des Arc, were married and moved to North Little Rock and then to Sherwood where they would raise their daughters. They eventually moved to the small Sylvania Community in Austin, AR where they lived until 2011. Laura worked in the banking industry for many years and retired in 2011 after working for a public accounting firm in Cabot for twenty years.

She enjoyed boating and swimming at Greers Ferry Lake and Lake Norrell and vacations to the Gulf Coast. Laura was an avid bowler for many years and enjoyed trips with friends to watch the Arkansas Razorbacks football and basketball teams.

Her husband of 47 years preceded her in death in 2011. Also preceding her in death were her parents, brother Lendel Allred, half-sister Virginia Pruyn and nephew James “Randy” Allred. She leaves behind her daughters, Debbie (Randy) Biggs of Little Rock and Amy (Jesse) Rolfes of O’Fallon, MO, three sisters-in- law Retha Allred and Mary Huddleston both of Des Arc and Becky Harvey of Wylie, TX along with a host of nieces, nephews and special life-long friends.

A very special thank you to the incredible staff at the Comfort Care Center of Hospice Home Care in Little Rock for their care and compassion during her final days.

The body will be cremated by Arkansas Cremation, and a small graveside service may be planned at a later time. If you would like to leave a message of condolence or share a memory, please do so in the Guestbook section at www.arkansascremation.com.
