FORT WORTH - Laura Campos, 69, passed away on March 13, 2025.
Visitation: 2 - 4 p.m. Sunday, March 23, 2025, at Greenwood Funeral Home in Memorial Suite A, 3344 White Settlement Rd., Fort Worth, Texas 76107.
Laura was born on September 30, 1955, in Fort Worth, Texas, to parents, Lawrence and Virginia Campos. Laura was a teacher's aide. She worked for Sagamore Hill Elementary for 23 years and also worked for David E. Smith and Worth Heights Elementary.
She enjoyed making floral arrangements and loved attending her grandson's sport activities, volunteering at the food bank and was involved in Ballet Folkorico at the Wesley Community Center. Laura was also a troop leader for her daughter's and niece's Girl Scout troops, and a coach for her younger sister's softball team at Sabine Jarvis.
Laura was preceded by her father, Lawrence Campos.
She is survived by her daughters, Rachael Gonzales and Sophia Sotomayor; son-in-law, Victor Sotomayor III; grandsons, Brandon Alvarado and Victor Sotomayor IV; mother, Virginia Jimenez; sisters, Alicia Mendoza and Irlinda Raza; and brothers, Paublo and Gilberto Campos.
