Laura Corina Obituary
Born in the Bronx, New York City, Laura was the daughter of the late Achille and Antoinette (Neri) Angelini. Laura moved to Westerly, RI with Sylvester where she built a wonderful life full of family and friends. Laura will be missed by her 4 children, Paul Corina and wife Valerie of Westerly, Theresa Corina of Walpole MA, Patricia Wesolowski and husband George of Deerfield, NH, and Laura Rubin and husband Henry of Revere, MA. Laura also leaves in loving memory 2 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and 1 great, great grandchild. She is predeceased by her brothers Joseph, George, and Harry Angelini and sister Delores Bordelon. She is survived by sister Annette Calbo.
After retiring from her work at Almacs grocery, Laura spent her time with family, volunteering for the Westerly Adult Day Care Center, learning new languages, and making friends at the Westerly Senior Center. She was known for her kindness and wit wherever she went. Laura particularly treasured the bond she had with the Wood Carving Club that she attended every Thursday at the Senior Center. She will be missed by all.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at St. Vincent De Paul Church, Bradford, RI at 10am burial will follow at St. Sebastian Cemetery, Westerly, RI
