Post-graduation, she dedicated her professional life to bookkeeping, a career that spanned several decades in Anderson, California. Her meticulous attention to detail and genuine warmth made her a beloved figure both in her professional circle and among her clients. Later in life, Laura embraced the serenity of ranch life in Mertzon, Texas, where she moved with her devoted husband, Jack D. Freitag, to enjoy the beauty and tranquility of the countryside.
Laura's life was a testament to her faith and the Christian values she held dear. Her love for her family was paramount, and she took immense pride in her role as a wife to Jack and mother to her sons, Matthew, who is married to Ha, and Bryant, who is married to Angi. Laura's joy multiplied as she became a grandmother to Kaitlyn, Simon, and Nghi, cherishing every moment spent with them and instilling in them the same love and values she carried throughout her life.
