Laura Bethany Hoopengardner

It is with deep shock and sadness that we announce the death of Laura Bethany Hoopengardner age 39 of North Olmsted, Ohio on November 14, 2025.
A woman with boundless energy and an immense love for her family.
Laura Hoopengardner was born on Mothers Day, May 11, 1986 in Fairview, Ohio. She was brilliant, funny, kind and enormously thoughtful and caring. She loved poetry and music. She had exuberant energy and devoted it all to her son Joey. Those who were fortunate enough to know her were immediately charmed by her humor and warmth.
She is survived by her mother; Karen Acklin, father; Gary Hoopengardner and two remaining siblings; Janet Cover and Adam Hoopengardner as well as her son; Joey Halpin.
Funeral services will be held
Friday, November 21st, 11am at
CANNON-CATAVOLOS FUNERAL HOME
6953 W130th Parma Heights
where Laura's family will receive friends Thursday from 6-8pm
Reverend Chuck Behrens officiating.
Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the Hoopengardner family asks donations be made directly to them to help with Joey's education and therapy fund. Helping to continue his ABA and speech therapy and attend a specialized school for his specific future needs. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
