Laura Persily Obituary
Laura Persily passed away last week at her home in Pittsfield, MA. A lifetime lover of animals, crafts, and the Berkshires, she was a trailblazer for women in the computer industry, having worked for Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC) and Compaq after graduating from UPenn and the Sloan School of Management at MIT. Daughter of the late Clemens and Matilda Mallis Persily and sister to Andrew Persily, she is survived by her niece, Meredith Persily, and her nephew, Nathaniel Persily.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on November 7 at Ferncliff Cemetery, 280 Secor Road, Hartsdale, New York.
Memorial donations may be made to The Berkshire Humane Society located at 214 Barker Road, Pittsfield, MA 01201
