Laura Alice Meadowcroft Rasmussen was born on May 29, 1928, inside her lifelong home located in Evanston, Wyoming. Laura passed away peacefully on September 11, 2024.
Laura was a lifelong resident of Wyoming, where she devoted her life to her family and community. Laura attended Evanston schools and graduated from Evanston High School. She married Darrel Rasmussen, and the couple was later sealed in the Ogden Temple for time and all eternity. Darrel and Laura were blessed with two children: Connie Jean Conway (Mark) and Alan Lee Rasmussen (Vauna).
Laura was preceded in death by her parents, Lilly and Leo Meadowcroft; her brother, Arthur Meadowcroft; her sister, Elnora Meadowcroft; her brother, Elmer Meadowcroft; and her husband, Darrel Rasmussen. She is survived by her children, Connie Jean Conway and Alan Lee Rasmussen (Vauna); her nine grandchildren; as well as her many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Laura was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and an active participant in her community. She was known for her kindness, humor, and steadfast love for her family and friends.
Laura was an active member of the Eagles Auxiliary #2359, achieving the prestigious honor of State Madam President. She traveled extensively throughout Wyoming, touching the lives of countless individuals with her kindness, humor, and love.
Laura's passion for life and her ability to connect with others will be deeply missed. She will forever be remembered for her warmth, generosity, and unwavering spirit. Laura will live on in our hearts forever.
