Laura Rogers Obituary
She was preceded in death by her husband, David "Gene" Rogers; father, W.T. Howell; mother, Florence Howell; brothers, Tilton Alton "Jerry" Howell, James Robert "Dickie" Howell; sisters, Virginia Crow, Betty Russell and Judy "Nancy" Wages; great grandson, Mitchel McArthur.
Mrs. Rogers is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Gina and Greg Hammontree of Rocky Face; sons and daughters-in-law, David and Teresa Rogers of Dalton; Randy and Pat Rogers of Rocky Face; grandchildren, Gilly (Brent) Kestner, Garett Hammontree, Brandy (Ben) Tunnell, Jessica (David) McArthur, Allura Rogers, Sasha (Casey) Raborn, Chelsea (Drew) Walker; great-grandchildren, Everlee and Kinsley Kestner, Graham, Indie, Julian, Juliett and Jordan Hammontree, Logan and Tyler Tunnell, William and Madison McArthur, Beau and Chase Raborn, Easton and Baylor Walker.
The family would like to thank the staff at Pleasant Valley and Hearth Hospice for the compassion and care of their mother.
The funeral service to celebrate her life will be held on Thursday, March 6, 2025, at 2:00pm at the Rocky Face Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Tom Whitsett, Rev. Marty Greene and Scott Bates officiating.
The family will receive friends at the Rocky Face Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home on Thursday, March 6, 2025 from 11:00am until the funeral hour at 2:00pm.
Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery.
