Born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Reid and Mary (Stark) Ogden, Laura resided in Solebury Township, PA for 45 years before moving to Lions Gate in Souderton, PA 25 years ago.
Laura worked at Bell Telephone after High School graduation and also worked as an Office Manager at Tompkins Graphics, Inc. from 1976-1995. She was a homemaker and her most rewarding job was being the greatest mom. Laura was also active with her family at Carversville Christian Church from 1964-1999 where she taught Sunday School.
She was the beloved wife of the late William R Tompkins for 66 years; devoted mother of Mark A. Tompkins and wife Jennifer of Newtown, PA and the late William R. Tompkins, Jr.; loving grandmother of William R Tompkins, III of Tennessee; and two great grandchildren living in Ohio.
Services will be private for immediate family.
