Silvia Regina Muniz

Silvia Regina Muniz of Doylestown, PA passed away on Monday, November 10, 2025 in the Wesley Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Doylestown, PA. She was 90 years old.
Born in Santiago, Cuba to the late Ulpiano and Juana (Alvarez) Sanchez, Silvia resided at Center Square Tower for 13 years before moving to Wesley Enhanced Living in 2024.
Silvia came to the United States from Cuba and settled in Philadelphia, PA. She was formerly employed as a controller with the Variety Club and Camp of Worcester, PA. A developmental center and camp that assisted children and young adults with disabilities.
Silvia was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and also enjoyed dancing and cooking.
She was the beloved wife of the late Nestor Lorenzo Muniz; devoted mother of Lorenzo Muniz (Carol), Juan Muniz (Patricia), and Silvia Sahwell (Bill); loving grandmother of Annmarie Garis, John Muniz, Lorenzo Muniz, Anthony Muniz, Gia Fornara and William Sahwell; cherished great-grandmother of Evan Muniz, LJ Muniz, Aubrey Garis, Gannon Garis, and Charlotte Muniz.
The family will receive their friends at the Varcoe-Thomas Funeral Home, 344 North Main Street, Doylestown, PA 18901 on Friday, November 14, 2025 from 8:30-9:45 am.
A Funeral Mass will follow at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 235 E. State Street, Doylestown, PA 18901 at 10:30 am.
Interment will be held in St. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
