Dorothy Kocieda-Huggins Obituary

Born in Little Rock, AR to the late Jessie Williams Johnson, she was a lifelong resident of Doylestown, PA. She was formerly employed in the hospitality industry.
With a love for knitting, crocheting, and thrifting, Dorothy filled her days with creativity and joy. She cherished her role as a grandmother to ten adoring grandchildren, who will carry her memory in their hearts. Her warm spirit and infectious joy will be profoundly missed.
She was the beloved wife of 20 years to Carl L. Huggins; devoted mother of Virginia Kashdan, Sylvia Kocieda, Juliet Smith (Anders), Aphrodite Garrett (Wesley) and Ramses Kocieda; cherished step mother of Marquita Heard, Carl L. Huggins Jr., Riley Heard, and Dominique Royal; loving grandmother of several grandchildren; dear sister of Brenda McCantes, Mary Moore, Shonda Williams and the late Rita Williams, and June Johnson.
The family will receive their friends at the Varcoe-Thomas Funeral Home, 344 North Main Street, Doylestown, PA 18901 on Friday, October 17th, 2025, with a private service to begin at 11:00am.
Cremation services will be private.
