Gerald Delane "Jerry" Langer

Gerald "Jerry" Delane Langer of Doylestown, PA passed away on Thursday, October 9, 2025 in the Doylestown Hospital, Doylestown, PA. He was 92 years old.
Born in Grants Pass, OR to the late Lester and Evelyn (Propst) Langer, Jerry was a resident of Doylestown, PA for 51 years.
He received a bachelor's degree from the University of Washington, Seattle, WA where he also played football for four years. Jerry was a US Naval Veteran and served in the United States Navy for 30 years, retiring as a Captain. He later worked with procurement in the aerospace division of Lockheed Martin/GE until retirement.
Jerry enjoyed playing golf, travelling, and gardening as hobbies and was a talented woodworker. He was a member of Doylestown Country Club for 37 years.
He was the beloved husband of 69 years to Joan W. Robinson; devoted father of Jeffrey W. Langer (Elizabeth), David D. Langer (Deborah); dear brother of the late Lewis Langer (late Shirley), Steven Langer (Norma), and sister Enid Delaney (Ron); loving grandfather of Jennifer Langer (Markham Rollins IV), Michael Langer (Lindsay), Melissa Langer (Samantha Grzegorczyk), and Deanna Langer (Kyle Brockett); loving great-grandfather of Evan Langer.
Jerry's memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at 11:00 am at Varcoe-Thomas Funeral Home, 344 North Main Street, Doylestown, PA 18901.
