Donald R. Deebel, beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away peacefully at Belle Terrace nursing home on August 25, 2025. Donald was 86 years old. He is lovingly remembered by his wife Marlene Deebel (Kessock), daughters Brenda Gavis and son-in-law John Gavis, Joanne Notarangelo, and son Donald Deebel Jr., grandchildren Charles and Andrew Crossan, Luke Deebel, and Madison and Sean Hendricks, sisters Ruth Briggs and Carol Thomas, and many nieces and nephews.

Born in Ringtown, Pennsylvania, Donald never lost his love for the mountains. Donald enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding motorcycle and going to car shows. Donald was active in his community serving on the planning commission in Sellersville and an active member of St. Michael's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Sellersville.

Donald was a heavy equipment operator and foreman for most of his life, working for Henkles and McCoy in his early years, then other construction companies thereafter. Donald was a veteran, who served in the army for 2 years.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 27,2025, from 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm at St. Michael's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 25 E. Church Street, Sellersville, PA, 18960, in the Fellowship Hall. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend Donalds celebration.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to St. Michael's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Sellersville and Shenandoah Fish and Game, 395 Ferndale Road, Zion Grove, PA 17985, (570) 889-5124.
