H. Smith Obituary
Born in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Manning and Ethel (Templeton) Smith. Denny had been a resident of Upper Black Eddy since 1991.
Denny was formerly employed with the Recorder of Deeds Office for Bucks County, Pennsylvania. He was a graduate of Delaware Valley University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Ornamental Horticulture.
Denny enjoyed gardening, puzzles, reading, and sports. He was an avid fan of Penn State, the Philadelphia Eagles, and the Philadelphia Phillies. Saturdays during football season he could often be found in front of the television cheering on Penn State football.
He was also a longtime Republican committeeman and served on the Palisades School District Board of Directors.
He was the beloved husband of Andrianna "Pidge" (Ferri) Smith; devoted stepfather of Stacey Becker (Judy Gatto) and Todd Becker (Christine); and is also survived by his beloved dog, Louie.
Services will be private under the direction of the Varcoe-Thomas Funeral Home/Central Bucks Crematory, 344 North Main Street, Doylestown, PA 18901.
