Brian John Duffy

Brian John Duffy, age 83, passed away peacefully on January 5th, 2026, at Gwynedd Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Upper Gwynedd, Pennsylvania. Brian is survived by his wife of 59 years, Irene Duffy; his children, David Duffy and Lisa Cauley; as well as his grandchildren, Alexa, Connor, Ryan, Sean, Kevin, and Lauren.

Brian was born in Nutley, New Jersey on November 23rd, 1942, to William and Martha Duffy. He spent much of his early life in Lyndhurst, New Jersey, where he met and would marry his wife, Irene Duffy, in 1966. He would eventually move to Montgomery Township, Pennsylvania, where he would spend most of his life.

Brian had a storied career in the field of medicine and chemistry. He received his Bachelor's Degree in teaching at Villanova University, a Master's Degree in Science at Steven's Institute of Technology, and a Master's Degree in Business at Temple University. He worked as an adjunct chemistry teacher at Villanova University, patented several new chemicals as a Research scientist, and became a Pharmaceutical Pilot Plant manager for Johnson & Johnson.

Brian will be fondly remembered by his wife, children and grandchildren for his kindness, his generosity, and his hilarious acerbic sense of humor. May he rest in peace.
