Sandra E. "Sandy" (Blessel) Bartoletti, 84, formerly of 13 Huckleberry Ln. and Gladstone Cir., in Clifton Park, died on Friday, March 6, 2026.
Born in Benzinger Township (St. Mary's), Pa., she was the daughter of the late Francis Edward and Irene (Hetrick) Blessel and was the beloved wife since 1963 to Chuck S. Bartoletti until his passing on August 2, 2019. She was a graduate of Bennetts Valley High School in Weedville, Pa., and earned her bachelor's degree from Temple University in nursing. Sandy was an RN with CHP in Latham in the medical records department until she retired.
Sandy was devoted to her family and loved spending time with family and friends. She was very close to her best friend, Patty, and enjoyed getting her hair done by her close friend, Lisa Petta. She loved to travel with her and Chuck's lifelong childhood friends, Patty and Rudy, and to visit her children around the country. The Elvis Fest in Lake George was a regular event.
Mrs. Bartoletti was a communicant of Corpus Christi Church in Ushers.
Devoted mother of Michael Bartoletti and wife, Melissa, Jeffrey Bartoletti and husband, Edgardo Porratta, and Dave Bartoletti and husband, Joel Wheeler; cherished grandmother of Charlie, Kate, and Allie; loving sister to Jimmy (Debbie) Blessel.
Private funeral arrangements with Spring Interment in Jonesville Cemetery have been entrusted to the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 Rt. 9, Clifton Park, N.Y. 12065.
Those desiring, may make memorial contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, in memory of Sandra E. Bartoletti. She was a longtime donor.
Sandy's family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the staff at Baptist Health Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for their loving care. The candy lady has left the building.
