Frances Langer Obituary

Published by Legacy on Oct. 1, 2025.
Frances "Rita" Langer, age 87, of Amery, Wisconsin, passed away Friday, August, 8, 2025 at Golden Age Manor, Amery, Wisconsin where she had resided since January 2022.
Rita was born on March 9, 1938 to Albert and Rosella (Baillargeon) Demulling in Osceola, Wisconsin. She attended Osceola High School and graduated class of 1956. After high school, while working at Champion aircraft, Rita met Francis Langer and they were married on April 30, 1960 at Assumption Catholic Church, East Farmington, WI. They purchased a home outside of Somerset Wisconsin and six children were born to this union: Cheryl, Dennis, Theresa, Ruth, Brenda and Lynne.
Rita loved time with family – especially her children and grandchildren. Her faith was strong and she was very involved member at St. Joesph's, Assumption Virgin Mary and St. Anne's Catholic Churches. She also enjoyed mowing lawn, playing cards and bowling. Through the years her participation in these activities declined, but her love of family and faith did not. Rita will be missed by many.
Family would like to send a special thank you to all of the staff at Golden Age Manor and Adoray Hospice for the great care of Rita.
Rita is survived by her children, Cheryl Beseler, Dennis (Margo) Langer, Theresa (Tom Ett) Delrosario, Ruth (Dean) Anderson, Brenda (Gary) Sjerven and Lynne Langer; grandchildren, Bryan (Shauna) Beseler, Amanda (Kevin) Steklenburg, Preston, Brady and Allison Langer, Quincy Lewis, Connor (Nicole) Anderson, Aaron (Abby) Anderson and Faith (Jack) Coleman; 16 great-grandchildren, brother, Michael Demulling; many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Rita is preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Rosella Demulling; sister Ella Mae Perkins; infant sister Mary Rosella; and former spouse, Francis Langer.
