Laureen J. (Stauff) Thurber of Cumberland passed away on January 16, 2026 at Landmark Medical Center in Woonsocket. Laureen was 65 years old. She had battled valiantly through struggles with her health for the last several years, always rallying and always fighting for her beloved family. She was the wife of the late Steven F. Thurber

She was born in Providence on April 1, 1960, daughter of the late Violet (Diomontopolous) and Lawrence Stauff.
