COLUMBIA, MD – Laureline E. Yeaton, 81, of Columbia, MD, died Saturday, May 31, 2025, at the Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center in MD, with loved ones by her side.
Born in Gardiner, Maine, on August 4, 1943, the daughter of Richard and Gladys (Hall) Jamison.
Laurie grew up in Chelsea, Maine. She graduated with honors from Gardiner High School in 1961. In March of 1962 she married her high school sweetheart, Larry.
During their 63 years of marriage, they moved many times due to her husband's work. She lived in Maine, Vermont, Massachusetts and finally landed in Columbia, Maryland for the last 40 years. She made friends all along the way as she was a very caring and friendly person. She loved keeping in contact with them. Her favorite pastime was shopping with her friends at "the mall". She spent most of her married life as a homemaker and mother with a few jobs in retail, which she really enjoyed.
Laurie was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Gladys Jamison, her brother, Richard and her daughter, Lisa Renee.
She is survived by her husband, Lawrence; son, Lee and his wife Ayse; sister-in-law Linda and her brother, Tom and his wife.
Sadly, during the last six years of her life she was bedridden due to dementia and other medical problems.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th, at 11:00 am, at the Maple Grove Annex Cemetery, Windsor Street, Randolph.
Arrangements and guidance are in the care of Staples Funeral Home and Cremation Care, 53 Brunswick Avenue, Gardiner, Maine.
