Laurence Frayer

Laurence Earl Frayer December 26, 1940 – October 28, 2025 Laurence "Larry" Earl Frayer, age 84, of South Lyon, Michigan, passed away peacefully on October 28, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones. Born on December 26, 1940, in Cleveland, Ohio, Larry was the son of Robert and Ellen Frayer. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army before enjoying a long and successful career with General Motors. After his retirement, he continued to serve his community through his work at the Canton Public Library and as an usher at his church, St. Michael's in Canton. Larry was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Carol Frayer, and his sisters, Roberta Winne and Beth Ann Frayer. He is survived by his brother, Michael Frayer; his children, Robert (Mary) Frayer and Kathleen (Gregg) Angelosanto; his grandchildren, Morgan Frayer, Bethany Angelosanto, Gabriella (Todd) Lukasiewicz, Matthew Angelosanto, and Luca Angelosanto; and six cherished great-grandchildren, Ella, Mia, Jaxon, Brady, Brynn, and Delilah. A man of many passions, Larry loved reading, music and the great outdoors. He had a special fondness for his dogs and was well known for his daily walks with his loyal companion. Larry will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him. A military service will be held at a later date at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Rd., Holly, MI 48442. Memorial contributions may be made in Larry's name to the Alzheimer's Association.
