Lauretta Nye Obituary
Laurie had a career as an artist, she was a member of Saint Lukes and American Legion 340 and had a passion for art, birds, Jesus, dancing, rocks, fingernails, makeup, and just being beautiful.
She is survived by her daughter, Misty A. Morris; granddaughter, Latrease Ewing; grandson, Marquise "Terri" Ewing; great-granddaughter, Dareana Gainer; great-grandson, Jakayden Gainer; great-grandson, Marquise Ewing, Jr; Maci and Micha.
She is now with her husband, Fred, family and friends walking next to Jesus by her side.
There will be a graveside service at Barrancas National Cemetery on Friday, September 19, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Mark LaBranche officiating.
