Lauri Winnie Obituary
Lauri Ann Winnie, 64, of South Meriden, CT, passed away on Friday, May 16, 2025 at Watersedge Rehab Center in Middletown, CT after a lengthy illness.
Born in Meriden on February 11, 1961, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Helen Winnie. Miss Winnie attended Platt High School and was a life-long South Meriden resident. Lauri was most recently employed by Cardinal Health in East Hartford. Previously she worked at Fosdick Fulfillment Corporation in Wallingford.
Lauri is survived by her loving partner of 38 years Ernie Boucher. Lauri and Ernie enjoyed riding their motorcycle throughout New England.
She is also survived by her sister Virginia and her husband Richard Forman; brothers Aaron Winnie and his wife Jessica and Harold Winnie and by one niece and five nephews.
She was predeceased by her brothers Robert and William Winnie.
Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Saturday May 24, 2025 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 East Main St., Meriden, CT 06450. A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery, 95 Flanders St., Southington, CT 06489. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society at www.donate.cancer.org.
