Laurie Woodall Barth

Memorial graveside services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 11, 2012 at Calvary Cemetery for Laurie Woodall Barth, 48, who passed away on August 6, 2012 in Lafayette, LA and her father, Mitchell Greer Woodall, Sr. who passed away on May 29, 1999 in Lafayette, LA. Ms. Barth, a resident of Lafayette, LA, was the daughter of the late Mitchell Greer Woodall, Sr. and the former Beverly Annette Oge'. Mr. Woodall a resident of Lafayette, LA, was the son of the late Robert Judson Woodall and the former Nellie Gwendolyn Greer. Mr. Woodall had been a resident of Lafayette sense 1950. Before his retirement in 1995, he worked for 38 years as a mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service. Mr. Woodall was a Decorated Veteran of the U. S. Army serving during the Korean conflict. Mrs. Barth is survived by two daughters, Mickie Benoit and husband, Seth of Branch, LA, and Rachel Barth; two sons, David Jameson Barth and Raymond Mitchell Barth; one sister, Elizabeth Woodall; two brothers, Mitchell Greer Woodall, Jr. and Robert Judson Woodall all of Lafayette, LA; one granddaughter, Olivia Benoit and her former husband, Michael Barth of Lafayette, LA.
