Laurie Katherine Lytle, age 62, of Ellsworth, passed away unexpectedly on January 13, 2026. She was born on December 2, 1963, to James and Elizabeth (Seifert) Brenner in Red Wing, Minnesota. Laurie attended Ellsworth High School, graduating with the Class of 1982.
Laurie’s life was blessed with three children: Michael, Kylie, and Kayla, whom she loved deeply. Family meant everything to her, and she especially cherished her grandchildren, who held a very special place in her heart.
Laurie had a strong and unwavering faith in the Lord, which guided her throughout her life and brought her peace and comfort. She was a natural caregiver—always putting others first, offering a listening ear, a helping hand, and a loving heart to anyone in need. She loved cooking for her family and friends, finding joy in bringing people together around the table.
An outdoorswoman at heart, Laurie enjoyed fishing, camping, and spending time in nature. She embraced the simple pleasures of being outside and making memories with those she loved. She was also a devoted Green Bay Packers fan and rarely missed a chance to cheer on her team.
Laurie was known for her strong work ethic. She loved her work and took great pride in everything she did. Determined, dependable, and hardworking, she was someone others could always count on.
She will be remembered for her loving spirit, her faith, her generosity, and the deep care she showed to everyone around her.
Laurie is survived by her children: Michael (Allison) Lytle, Kylie Lytle, and Kayla (Ben) Brotka; grandchildren: Kamdyn, Walter, Waylon, Beau, and Leah with a sixth on the way; her mother: Betty Brenner; siblings: Dan (Julia) Brenner, Dave (Sherri) Brenner, Craig Brenner, Roger (Corina) Brenner, and Paul (Cheryl) Brenner; along with numerous Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, James Brenner.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00pm on Friday, January 23, 2026, at St. Francis Catholic Church: 231 W. Woodworth St., Ellsworth 54011. A visitation will begin at 10:00am until the start of Mass. A Private Family burial will be at St. Francis Cemetery.
