LaVern "Ro" Roshell Jackson, 55, of Junction City, was born on Thursday, December 25, 1969, and ascended into Heaven on April 10, 2025. She is now at peace.
LaVern was born in Junction City, Kansas to Jurline Jackson and Earl Starks.
Ro walked this world leaving behind footprints of life, laughter, and love.
She was first and foremost a beautiful daughter, a caring sister, a loving mother, and a legendary granny!
Aside from titles, Ro was someone with a heart that gave endlessly.
Roshell lives on supremely through her mother, Jurline Jackson-Lucas; her sister, Chris Rachel Jackson-Moss; her children, Jessica Corryn Jackson-Nettles, Cecil Walter Chandler IV, and Christopher Wayne Jackson; three grandchildren, Legasi Gerriah Pointer, Lilli Corryn Nettles, Christien Glenn Nettles and a host of other loving family and friends.
Roshell lived in the legacy of her granny and grandfather, Jessie Mae Jackson and Esker Jackson; one aunt, Christine Jackson. They are now free from pain and wrapped in peace.
Flowers fade but love endures, so in honor of Ro, we ask to remember her for the beautiful soul that she is and will always be.
