LaVerne died Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at Sanford Medical Center in Sioux Falls, SD. Funeral services will be 2:30 PM, Monday, October 13, 2025 at the United Methodist Church in Wagner, SD with a visitation from 1-2 PM. Burial will be in the ZCBJ Cemetery with military honors. Peters Funeral Home of Wagner is in charge of arrangements.
