LaVon Walker

Loved this girl! We worked as teachers together at Roosevelt High School in Los Angeles. She was the clever, funny one who made me laugh, and the kids loved her. Her calm presence, her sense of humor, her "smarts" and ability to do anything with numbers were just a part of her bag of tools in the classroom. Her commitment to her students, her colleagues, to her faith and her positive approach to life were inspirational. She will always be a part of me and I treasure her memory. To Judy and family and to Larry, my sympathy has been with you since we lost this precious girl. I hope eventually memories will bring smiles. One thing we know for sure, she is in heaven cz she was certainly one who deserves to be there and she was a believer. Always with me, Lavon!
