Lawrence J. "Larry" Bisso

Predeceased by his loving parents, Lawrence J. Bisso, Sr. and Lillian Russo Bisso, Lawrence J. "Larry" Bisso, Jr., 78, of Punta Gorda, Florida, and formerly of Woburn, Massachusetts, passed away at his home, leaving behind a legacy of love for music and family.
Raised in Woburn, Massachusetts, Larry was a proud graduate of Woburn High School, where he served as Drum Major of the Woburn High School band, before continuing his education at the Berklee College of Music. A gifted and passionate musician, Larry spent over fifteen years touring the country as a performer, singer, and songwriter. An accomplished organist, he also played piano, guitar, accordion, and many other instruments. He shared his musical talents with others as a private instructor and at the Tewksbury Music Center. His deep love for the performing arts also led him to become a local TV personality in Rochester, NH.
After retiring from his music career, Larry transitioned into the automobile industry, where he held many roles including management consultant, general manager, and finance manager for several dealerships. Despite the career change, music always remained a central part of his life.
Larry was a caring father, grandfather, brother, and dog lover. He is survived by his son Michael C. Bisso and daughter-in-law Heidi Bisso of Tewksbury, and their daughters Ashlyn and Mia, as well as his sister Maureen Bisso of Methuen. He is also survived by his son Lawrence J. Bisso, III of Westford, his wife, Holly, and their children, Julia, Jenna and Sam, as well his many cousins and friends.
A proud fan of the Red Sox and Patriots, Larry loved nothing more than talking sports with family and cheering on his sons during their baseball and basketball days. He had a generous and kind heart and he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
A Funeral Mass will be held in St. Anthony's Church 851 Main Street, Woburn on Monday, August 11th at 11:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to calling hours PRIOR to the mass from 9-10:45 a.m at the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn, MA 01801. Interment to follow in Woodbrook Cemetery, 100 Salem Street, Woburn, Ma 01801. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Larry's memory to the Woburn High School Band Program.
