Lawrence Boyd

Lawrence Edward Boyd was born March 25, 1962 in Memphis, TN. Lawrence gave his life to Christ at a young age. He graduated from Douglass High School in 1980.
Mr. Boyd enlisted in the United States Army in 1980, where he served as Motor Transport Operator in Fort Hood Texas. He was honorably discharged in 1983. He joined Central Woodwork in 1986 where he later became a Supervisor of Shipping and Receiving and worked at the company until 2008. He joined LeMoyne-Owen College as a Dishwasher from 2010 to 2016 and lastly Memphis Mental Health Institution as a Custodial Worker from 2016 until his death.
Mr. Boyd leaves to cherish in his memories his parents Billy and Virginia Houston; his children: Demario Boyd, Ashley Matthew, Dedrick White, A'Ishah Williams, Khadijah Williams, and Tierrani Jackson; his brothers Andra Boyd (Isabel Boyd), Ulysses Houston (Lisa Houston), Len Lee (Rhonda Lee), Lovell Houston (Cherly Houston); his sister Angela Yarber (Pastor Yarber), six aunts, five uncles, and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. And a special Aunt Jewel from Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Mr. Boyd was preceded in death by his grandmother Emma Fuller, sons Lawrence Boyd, Jr. & Ryan White, his brother Oliver Mason.
