Born on June 22, 1938, in Detroit, Michigan, Lawrence lived a life filled with dedication, service, and love.

Lawrence was a proud veteran of the United States Army, embodying the values of duty and honor throughout his life. After his military service, he pursued a career in the automotive industry as an electrician at Detroit Diesel, where he was known for his skill and unwavering work ethic. Lawrence was a man who took great pride in providing for his family, and his craftsmanship was admired by his colleagues and friends alike.

Lawrence is survived by his cherished wife, Helen Brountie, and his loving children and grandchildren, who were a source of great joy and pride in his life.
