Roddy Anthony Parker

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Roddy Anthony Parker, a beloved husband, father, and esteemed colleague, who departed this life on October 22, 2025, at the age of 69. Roddy was born on May 6, 1956, in Detroit, Michigan, where he spent most of his life.

Roddy was a proud graduate who earned his Bachelor's Degree and dedicated his professional life to the field of accounting as a Certified Public Accountant. He made significant contributions to the utility industry during his tenure at DTE, where he was known for his professionalism, integrity, and commitment to excellence.

Roddy is survived by his loving family who meant everything to him, and he will be dearly missed by all those who had the privilege of knowing him.

In honor of Roddy's life and legacy, a public viewing will take place at the James H. Cole Home for Funerals - Northwest Chapel on Friday, October 31, 2025, 4:00pm - 9:00pm. The friends and family will gather for a Family Hour at the Church of the New Covenant Baptist on Saturday, November 1st, at 10:30 AM, followed by a Funeral Service to celebrate his life at 11:00 AM.
