Lawrence Thomas Carian

Lawrence T. Carian, 88, of Clawson, Michigan, transitioned peacefully on November 18, 2025. He was known for his wisdom and perseverance. Lawrence served in the Navy after graduating high school. His career was with Unisys working in engineering and data information. Providing for his family took top priority, which meant the world to him. His passions were reading, cooking, and travel. Lawrence traveled internationally with his wife, Carol. He enjoyed the ocean and Great Lakes and spent time canoeing, camping, and enjoying nature while traveling the United States with his family. Lawrence was a lifelong learner, and he instilled the importance of integrity and kindness in his children and grandchildren.
Lawrence is survived by his daughter Pamela (Michael) Littleton, grandson Erik Littleton, great grandson Luke, great granddaughter Chloe, daughter Laurel (Edward) Chmura, great granddaughter London, grandsons Jacob and Mitchell. He was preceded in death by his wife Carol and granddaughter Miranda.
The memory of Lawrence will forever be cherished, and his legacy will live on through the lives he touched.
