Lawrence T. Castaneda, a beloved son, brother, father, grandfather, uncle, fiancé and friend, passed away peacefully on July 14, 2025, in Whittier, California. He was 62 years old at the time of his death.

Born on August 16, 1962, in Los Angeles, California. Lawrence was the oldest of five children and a guiding presence in the family from the beginning. He attended St. Marianne School during his early years, then went on to graduate from St. Paul High School in Santa Fe Springs.

He was the proud father of three daughters and grandfather of four. For the past 14 years, Lawrence shared his life with his fiancé, Anne-Marie, a relationship marked by love, laughter and mutual care.

Lawrence devoted 41 years of his life to Southern California Edison, where his strong work ethic, steady presence and leadership earned the respect of everyone around him.

He was a man with a generous heart and instinct to help others - always the first to show up, lend a hand, or offer quiet support. His sense of humor was clever, often catching you off guard in the best way. He brought joy to those lucky enough to know him.

Throughout his later life, Lawrence faced health challenges with strength and determination. His perseverance and resilience defined him. He met life's hardships with unwavering resolve.

Lawrence will be remembered for his dedication to his family and friends. He'll be deeply missed but his spirit lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
