I am saddened to learn of Larry's passing, especially at such a young age..
He was my Brother in the Kappa Sigma Fraternity at Rutgers in New Brunswick, NJ my senior year 1975-76, when Larry pledged
I had the pleasure of being his Pledge Father, to mentor the young freshmen.
What impressed me most was that he was incredibly smart, hard working, and, he took personal pride in every Fraternal endeavor.

I was sorry to learn today of Larry's passing. I was at the Sarasota stamp show where I would always enjoy talking with him. Larry taught me a lot about Civil War postal history and letters. I will miss him.
