John Colletto

John Colletto, 76, of Edison, passed away on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at his home.
Born in New Brunswick, he was a lifelong resident of Edison. John was the son of the late Mary Irene Colletto (nee Halsey) and Calogero "Red" Colletto, Jr.
He graduated from Middlesex County College and received his Bachelor Degree in Finance from Rutgers University in 1971.
He was a lifelong member of St. James Episcopal Church in Edison. As Head Altar Server, he developed the values of devotion, discipline, and compassion that guided him throughout his life.
John was a Payroll Supervisor for Edison Township for over 30 years, retiring in 2004. In his retirement, he served on the Board of Directors at Hands of Hope Food Pantry, where he enjoyed cooking hot meals for the clients.
John will be remembered for his quick wit and sense of humor. He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
Surviving is his wife of 40 years, Pat Colletto, daughter Kerri Colletto and son Brian Colletto, both of Edison.
The Visitation will take place on Monday, December 15, 2025, from 4-7pm, at Costello-Runyon Funeral Home, 568 Middlesex Ave., Metuchen.
The Funeral will take place on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at 10:15 am at the funeral home followed by an 11 am Funeral Service at St. James Episcopal Church, 2136 Woodbridge Ave., Edison.
The interment will be in Cloverleaf Memorial Park, Woodbridge.
