Larry was one of the nicest and fair manager I had the pleasure of working for at Polaroid. Lots of fond memories. RIP, Larry

I worked at the Dana-Farber while Larry was a volunteer. Every single time our paths crossed, he wore a smile. I know his work meant a lot to him and that many patients benefited by his presence as did I.

Larry was the greatest travel partner in Labrador, Canada one winter. Always smiling and joking, thrilled to be in the sub-Arctic no matter how difficult the conditions were and always had the most neatly trimmed beard. I remember one night when he shared tales of Rachel and the special relationships she had with patients and how proud he was . On my wall is a picture I took of him at the controls of the locomotive that took us north and how excited he was to show it to his grandson. Even when he shared his diagnosis, he was upbeat and more eager to reminisce about our crazy trip. My deepest condolences to his family and friends, he made the world a better place.

To all of Larry's family and friends I send my prayers and condolences. He was indeed a loving father, father in law, grandfather, brother and friend. You are all in my thoughts. May you have a year of peace . Marjie Cahn
