It is with heavy hearts and deep love that we announce the passing of Lawrence J. Crader Jr., who passed away peacefully at Ochsner Medical Center on Friday, July 11, 2025.
Lawrence was preceded in death by his daughter, Brittany Landry; beloved parents, Lawrence Crader Sr. and Alice Crader; his maternal grandparents, Lawrence and Aline "Speedy" Edwards, and his paternal grandparents, George Crader Sr. and Clalie Cowan.
He leaves to cherish his memory his sons, Lawrence Crader III and Jeremy Crader; his sisters, Shelia and Kelly Crader; and his granddaughters, Legaci and Lacii Carter. Also mourning his loss are his nieces and nephew: Raquel, DeWayne (Janel), Danielle, and Kailyn; his great-nieces and nephews: Rashad, Legacy, Mariah, Kayden, Kylan, Kylie, Dalice, Knowledge, Madyson, and Rayonne; his Godparents, Sandra Williams and Lester Lassai and a host of other relatives and friends.
Family and friends are invited to attend his Celebration of Life Service on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, 1:00PM at Professional Funeral Services, Inc., 1449 N. Claiborne Ave, New Orleans, LA 70116. Visitation 12:00PM until service. Interment Private.
