Mr. Lawrence Walter Doolan

On Thursday, Dec. 9, 2010 at CT Hospice, Branford, Lawrence Walter Doolan, a lifelong resident of Guilford, entered into rest. Beloved fiancé of Leigh Malicki. Larry was born on July 18, 1958 in New Haven, son of the late Walter E. and Eileen Sullivan Doolan. Brother of Robert and his wife Alice Doolan of East Haven. He is also survived by a niece and nephews, Alicia, Anthony, Christopher and Patrick Doolan and his fiancé's children, Loren and Eric Malicki. He was predeceased by a brother Michael Timothy Doolan. Larry was a self employed carpenter. He enjoyed riding his Harley and spending quality time with friends. He was a selfless person donating his time to help loved ones as well as supporting charitable organizations. Larry had also been a member of the men's auxiliary V.F.W. Post 7666, Guilford and the Moose Lodge. He will be truly missed by his friends and family. Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 14 at 4 pm at the Guilford Funeral Home, 115 Church St, Guilford. Friends may call from 3 – 4 pm prior to the services at the funeral home.
