Lawrence Dumas, 77, of Cambridge, passed away June 26, 2022, at his residence in Cambridge, Ohio.
He was born November 17, 1944, in Burlington, Vermont, a son of the late Raymond and Dolores (Deforge) Dumas.
Lawrence worked for the Guernsey County Senior Center for seven years and retired from the City of Burlington in Vermont. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, rock climbing, golfing, and being active. Lawrence was Catholic by Faith. He was a member of the Vermont Army National Guard from 1963-2001.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by Kiel Dumas, and his sister-in-law, Sharon Rabidoux.
He is survived by his wife, Suzanne Dumas, whom he married on May 1, 1965, his two sons, Paul (Rebecca) Dumas of Cambridge, and Christopher Dumas of Canton, his three grandchildren, Brendan Dumas, Timothy (Christine) Dumas, and Jessi Buehman, his three great grandchildren, Marek Smith, Cormac Dumas, and Lucas Buehman, along with several nieces, nephews, and his best friends, Tom Rotella and John Perrott. Also left to cherish his memory are his two brothers-in-law, Roland Rabidoux of Florida, and Paul (Christine) Rabidoux of Vermont, and his sister-in-law, Lynn (Mike) Mazza of Vermont.
