Teresa Lynn Dumas passed away at home peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer. Teresa was preceded in death by her mother Wanda Sue Hanes and her father Francis Joseph Schilling. As well as by her Grandfather Walter (pop) Johnson and Grandmother Gladys (Nana) Newquist. She is survived by her husband LaVerl D Dumas, and her four younger sisters. Her 5 children Kandice S Wadsworth, Amber M Broome, and TeJay W Dumas, Johnny Frittz, Gary Frittz. Her 4 grandchildren Mikael Dumas and Ava Dumas, Brent Frittz, Derick Frittz.
Teresa loved God and Jesus Christ. She loved crafting, sewing and saw life as one big adventure. She won contests with her wicked witch cackle, and she was known by everyone as "Grandma Christmas." Teresa loved helping, as well as rescuing animals, her home almost always had some pet. She loved holidays and decorated her home to the nines. The lives she touched all gained a positive spirit. She loved fishing, in the end she loved spending time with her grandson Mikael, fishing, and bantering with her husband. Teresa spent the past 5 years working as a school crossing guard for Springville Ut, at Cherry Creek elementary. She loved her job and working with children. A celebration of Teresa's life will be held at a later date.
She was a nerd at heart, roleplaying, video games, star trek, board games.
