Lawrence J. Fix
Age 102, formerly of Carrick, spent the last six years living and playing free golf at St. Barnabas. Larry passed on Sunday, March 17, 2024. Husband of the late Pauline M. Fix. Father of Lawrence P. (Kimberly), James E. (Joann), John "Jack" (Rose Mary), Kenneth C., and William A. (Jaclyn) Fix. Brother of William P. Fix, Shirley A. Geisler, Elizabeth Husa, and the late Rita M. Geiger, Arthur H. Fix, Robert C. Fix, Eleanor M. Harris, Donald G. Fix, and Thomas L. Fix. Also survived by numerous grand and great grandchildren. Visitations Friday 3-7 PM at the Boron Funeral Home, Inc., 1719 Brownsville Road. Funeral Prayers on Saturday at 10 AM. Mass of Christian Burial in Blessed Trinity Parish at St. Basil Church at 10:30 AM. He was a lifetime member of St. Basil Church and the Moose Lodge. Larry was a passionate golfer and played his last round at Birdsfoot Golf Club at 101 years of age. He also enjoyed duck pin bowling with his brothers. In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to St. Barnabas Free Care Fund.
