Lawrence Giles Obituary
Lawrence Timothy Giles, aged 85, passed away on October 18, 2024, in Canton, GA.
He leaves behind his beloved wife, Rebeca Giles; children, Nina Valastro, Ruth Giles Ott, and Matt Giles; and grandchildren, Devon Valastro, Tyler Alessandra Valastro, Jasmine Ott, Sergio Ott, and Rosa Ott Sandoval. Tim was also a proud great-grandfather to Angelica Ott, Angelo Sandoval, and Halo McClure. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence Timothy Giles and Ruth Buhrmaster Giles; his aunt, Clara Buhrmaster; and his sister, Mary Giles.
A wake will be held on Friday, October 25, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Woodstock Funeral Home, followed by a funeral Mass at 12:00 PM, at Transfiguration Catholic Church in Marietta.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the College of the Holy Cross.

Sincere sympathy to Rebeca, Nina, Ruth, Matt, the Giles & Valastro families on the loss of Timothy. Although I am only learning about him through family research, I am proud to be a distant cousin. His was a life well lived and is an inspiration to us all. May the many happy memories you share help you through your bereavement. May Tim rest in peace.
