Lawrence Jackson, Sr., of White Oak, North Carolina, was born July 29, 1948 in Robeson Co. and passed away on January 26, 2026 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved son of the late Asberry and Eula Parker Jackson and the devoted husband of Joan Britt Jackson, with whom he shared 58 years of marriage.
He is survived by his three children, Lawrence Jackson, Jr. and his wife Melanie of White Oak, NC; Tony R. Jackson and his wife Anita of Spencer, WV; and Elsie Reeves and her husband Jimmy of Laurel Hill, NC; seventeen grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; he is also survived by his sisters, Francis Blount of Southern Pines, NC, and Lula Pait of St. Pauls, NC.
He was preceded in death by: Paulene Barnes, Allen Jackson, Jimmy Jackson, Berry Jackson, Donald Jackson, Byrdie Hair, Ronald Jackson, Annie Lee Rice, and Mamie Gilbert.
