Willie Lee Jackson Sr. was born June 9, 1957 and attended the public schools of Crawford County. He was preceded in death by his parents Mrs. Roberta Sims Jackson and Mr. Charlie Jackson in Marshallville Georgia, Macon County. He peacefully transitioned from this earthly life on December 12, 2025, in Fort Valley, Georgia.
He accepted Christ at an early age, where he was a faithful servant of the Lord at Horton Chapel Baptist Church, under the leadership of Bishop Bruce Lee Sr. Willie enjoyed going to church to assist in any way possible. Willie loved the Lord, attending church, gospel concerts, and fishing. He was a licensed fisherman and a fisher of men for the Lord. His passion was cooking soul food for the ones he loved.
Willie was preceded in death by his siblings: Willie McGee, Johnny B. McGee, Adams Barns, Sarah May Mathis, Annie Bell Blassingame, Charlie Jackson, Georgia Bell Jackson, Ruby Jackson and John Henry.
Willie leaves to cherish his memory his devoted son, Willie Lee Jackon Jr. of Atlanta, GA; his two loving daughters: Morcina Christina Ross (Merrill Jr.) of Fort Valley, GA and Kimber Lee Parris of Atlanta, GA; two sisters: Polly McGhee of Fort Valley, GA and Rachel Walker of Roberta, GA; granddaughter, Natalie Shavonne Jackson-Lawrence (Daniel); great-granddaughter, Kehlani Golden Lee Rose Glover both of Atlanta, GA; along with a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will forever cherish his memory.
